Based at our Welshpool Head Office, Invertek Drives are seeking to appoint an Innovation Technician, reporting to the Product Integrity Manager.Responsibilities include: Drive type testing to validate new designs; Producing detailed reports; Building prototype and NPI PCBs, drives and assemblies.The ideal candidate will have: A background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with experience and knowledge of AC Drives; Ideally qualified BTEC (or higher), undergoing qualification in Electronic Engineering or the prerequisites to do so; Good IT skills: Excel and Word are essential; Good organisation skills with high attention to detail; Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to learn and gain experience working closely with the Design team.
