A vacancy exists to join our manufacturing engineering team in Welshpool, Powys providing state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and processes used in the production of microcontroller-based power electronics products. The role offers exciting project-based work in software and hardware design for automated test and inspection machines, robotics, artificial intelligence, new product introduction and production process design. The ideal candidate will have: - HNC or Degree in an engineering or technology discipline. - Significant experience of technical aspects of electronics products. - Experience in software programming and CAD packages, ideally: NI Labview, Solidworks, Allen Bradley PLC’s. - Collaborating with our Innovation team during product development, you will define and implement the test strategy for functional and compliance requirements. - Test Equipment electrical and mechanical design and machine safety experience. - Able to work alone or as part of a team. - Good organisational skills and attention to detail. - Smart appearance & polite manner.
