Your area of responsibility

• As a cutting machine operator, you will work in production and contribute to the production of precise components.
• You will be responsible for the production and processing of workpieces made of metal.
• You will set up machines such as lathes, milling or grinding machines and monitor the production process.
• Quality control of the manufactured parts is also part of your job, for example by measuring and testing.
• You will also carry out maintenance and repair work on machines and tools to ensure smooth operation.
• You may also be involved in programming CNC machines to ensure precise production processes.
• In assembly, you will be responsible for finishing and assembling components into functional assemblies.

• Good secondary school leaving certificate, technical secondary school leaving certificate, A-levels
• Passion for tools and machines
• Enthusiasm for accuracy
• Good spatial awareness and good maths skills
• Quality awareness
• Ability to work in a team

The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years. Under certain conditions, it is possible to shorten the training period.
